You’re given a chance to swap body parts with a random pony (not of your choice). You must only select one body part or group of parts, however if it’s part of a set (so, a pair of arms or legs, or something) you can take the whole set. This part will be swapped with their equivalent (foreleg to arm, flank to butt). You cannot take anything that defines their race (no horns or wings), nor can you just take everything (so you can’t switch brains or heads… preferably following the rule of thumb that someone, at a glance, should be able to tell you’re a human with the pony part). What body part gets swapped with the pony’s, and why?
Answer this with an ask, and I’ll publish them. And if you want something clarified or expanded on, I’ll answer it privately (or edit it here, if there’s a miscommunication).
Penny and Partway
Partway Meta Universe - Modsonas
A bit of forewarning: a modsona typically looks like the mod they’re based on. Not so in this case. Penny (or Partway, who Penny is based on) is simply how I wish to represent my identity online. For one thing, I’m male, but as everyone on Drawn on Skype knows, I refer to myself as “She”. I can’t explain why, it’s just how I prefer it. Anyway, now to the bio itself.
Unlike their in-universe counterparts, the abilities of these two are quite loosely defined. Partway can cast the magic she normally could, but it’s not limited to sentient beings of magical capability. Penny has the same powers, something she would never have in her own universe. They use it however they want whenever they want, mostly on themselves and each other.
Though admittedly more powerful, they are limited to their own mod activities. Random stuff with other mods, or out-of-context interactions with their characters. Never in-universe stuff, both their own characters’ or other peoples’. They find it’s better if that sort of barrier wasn’t broken.
But why both of them? Couldn’t I just use one or the other? They are the same character, after all. Well, I just couldn’t decide which one I wanted, and I felt it a shame to have them spend their mod lives alone, so… why not have both? That makes sense, right?
Some more practice doodling. Completely in line with the last one.
This version of human Trixie is pretty much perfect in my eyes. The hairstyle, the outfit (I mean, it’s exactly what you’d expect a female stage magician to wear), down to her curves… this is Trixie to a T.
I don’t know… neutral would be the main word to describe it. I’m certainly enjoying myself right now, jumping between playing on the latest Minecraft snapshot and drawing my next Partway update, however there is the fact a long-lasting depressive state of being purposeless, seeing as I’m still yet to secure a job (hell, I haven’t been able to get an interview so far).
So yeah, when the positives and negatives add together, all that’s left with is a neutral state. Not quite apathy, but in that general area.
It’s late (well, early morning, but my sleep schedule is so screwed up that this is probably mid-afternoon for me), my fingers are freezing from the cold, so let’s go for a round of TMI Tuesday (on a Thursday, no less).
Send in your asks and I’ll answer them. Unless it’s too lewd or delving too deep into my real life, but that’s to be expected, right?
I need a pone to be involved in Bree’s next update, so reblog this with a ref and you may be chosen. c:
Sorry for sharing what is admittedly just a sketch, but I’m loving this pose so much that I can’t wait to finish it in order to share it.
Someday that fragile stack of boxes will fall, and Trixie’s secret will be known to the world: her magic is real.
A drawn interpretation of my avatar, which is taken from the latest MLP comic.
Because I posted this in the middle of the night (for you in the US), I’m reblogging it in the middle of the day.
